Op 14 november 2014 promoveerde D. Niewerth aan de Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam op haar promotieonderzoek getiteld: ‘Proteasoomremmers bij acute leukemie’, onder begeleiding van promotoren prof. dr. G.J.L. Kaspers en prof. dr. S. Zweegman, en copromotoren dr. J. Cloos en dr. G. Jansen. In deze proefschriftbespreking worden de belangrijkste bevindingen van het onderzoek weergegeven.
