Op 12 september 2023 promoveerde dr. Erica Brivio aan het Erasmus MC op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘Pediatric leukemia: new treatment opportunities’ onder begeleiding van promotoren prof. dr. C.M. Zwaan en prof. dr. M.L. den Boer (Erasmus MC en Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie), en copromotor dr. V.H.J. van der Velden (afdeling Immunologie, Erasmus MC). De belangrijkste bevindingen van haar onderzoek worden hier besproken.
