Op 8 december 2016 promoveerde mw. drs. E. Rombout-Sestrienkova aan de Universiteit van Maastricht op haar promotieonderzoek getiteld ‘Erythrocyta-pheresis, a treatment modality in hereditary hemo-chromatosis’ onder begeleiding van promotor prof. dr. A.A.M. Masclee en copromotoren dr. G.H. Koek en dr. M.G.J. van Kraaij. Hieronder zijn de belangrijkste bevindingen en conclusies uit het onderzoek weergegeven.
