Op 2 mei 2024 promoveerde dr. Jesse Tettero aan het Amsterdam UMC, locatie VUmc, op zijn proefschrift getiteld ‘Optimizing usage of measurable residiual disease for treatment decision making in acute myeloid leukemia’ onder begeleiding van promotoren prof. dr. J. Cloos (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC) en prof. dr. G.J. Ossenkoppele (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC) en copromotoren dr. J.J.W.M. Janssen (afdeling Hematologie, Radboudumc) en dr. D.C. de Leeuw (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC). De belangrijkste bevindingen van zijn proefschrift worden hier besproken.
