Op 23 september 2024 promoveerde Margot van Spronsen aan het Amsterdam UMC, locatie VUmc, op haar proefschrift getiteld ‘Multidimensional myelodysplastic syndromes: on the dissection of their heterogeneity’ onder begeleiding van promotor prof. dr. A.A. van de Loosdrecht (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC) en copromotor dr. T.M.W. Westers (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC). De belangrijkste bevindingen van haar proefschrift worden hier besproken.
