Op 24 maart 2023 promoveerde dr. Yvonne Thus aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam op haar proefschrift ‘Combatting ibrutinib and venetoclax resistance in MCL and CLL: from CRISPR screens and genetic analyses towards improved treatment’ onder begeleiding van promotoren prof. dr. Arnon P. Kater (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC) en prof. dr. Steven T. Pals (afdeling Pathologie, Amsterdam UMC) en copromotor dr. Marcel Spaargaren (afdeling Pathologie, Amsterdam UMC). De belangrijkste bevindingen van haar onderzoek worden hier besproken.
